Acylic on Canvas
I haven't done abstract in awhile, hence the name; I get the feeling I'm being a bit naughty when I just throw paint and feelings onto canvas.
Main reasons for this; I saw John Hoyland's latest work in Truro today and it's influenced me. Plus my Dad liked the artwork but Hoyland's pieces are a tad on the expensive side now and he keeps egging me on to do more art. Maybe this will turn into a Father's Day present.
Thank you. I get what you mean; it's been awhile since I've done something like this and it was really fun. Drown out everything else with some loud music on and a glass or two f something yummy and away I go. Might do the same again tonight.
