1] What is your pen name?
Usually Ed, or Eddie. Sometimes I go for Scyian, which was a character I made up when I went through a weird fantasy writing stage.

2] How did you get the name?
My initials are E.D. thus Ed was born! I like having a masculine nickname.

3] Do you use PC or Mac?
PC

4] What software you use most often?
Photoshop 7

5] Do you use mouse, or tablet?
Mouse, I do own a tablet but I haven't perfected the art of using it yet!

6] The colour you use most often is?
Blue/Green

7] What area of the pictures do you put most effort into?
The foreground pieces; and patterns in things like rock formations. Like I've got a painting going at the moment which is quite simple, but there is a standing stone that has lots and lots of detail in it. As a whole though I'd like to think I put the same amount of effort into all areas.

8] How long does it take you do draw a picture?
Never keep track to be honest.

9] Do you keep your rough drafts?
Usually, until I have a big tidy up every 6 months. I like keeping back stuff and finding it again and then I sometimes reawaken an idea or take it somewhere new I didn't see when I originally started it.

10] What kind of font do you use most often?
Lucidia Sans Unicode (I think)

11] What's the dpi when you scan?
It's on auto and it's a newish scanner and I haven't looked and can't be arsed to right now.

12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures?
Music, Booze, Net, MSN.

13] How many pictures do you draw in a month?
Um.... depends on my mood. I go from drawing loads to not doing any. I need to get an average going.

14] What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
I have this bad habit of buying sketch books EVERY time I go out, so I use those.

15] What kind of paper do you use for sketches and drafts?
Lined, post it notes, anything laying around.

16] How long does it take to ink something?
Don't do inking often so bloody ages, and I get agitated when I have to do something extra careful.

17] Do you do doujinshi or original manga?
No, I'm not a fangirl of either.

19] Ever submitted anything to a magazine?
Um... I'm sure I submitted something to Blue Peter when I was about 7. I plan to one day soon.

Er... no. Someone else in my school won it and got mentioned on Blue Peter and got some cool prize. Damn them!

21] Who are your favorite artists?
Hockney - for the colour. Whelan for the Sci Fi perfection he can create. O'Keefe because she makes flowers look wude! Stef and Gabe because they draw me porn. My sister Kelly because she paints for me.

22] What's your favorite Anime/Manga?
Fuck off with the Manga already! If I had to choose then Spirited Away, but that isn't really either; but it's a cool movie.

What any characters? Dwight in Sin City (mmmmmm...), Max Payne, Auron in FFX.

24] Any artists that you'd like to draw like?
Not really; I sometimes wish I could draw/paint as good as such and such, but I like my own style.

Yup. I'm a sucker for buying books.

Mainly other artists books.

Sometimes. It's rare to ever be completely happy with everything you do, but sometimes it happens.

Depends. It gets into your work if you let your feels go. Alcohol and music tends to drown those out and I just let go.

Always have. It is an enjoyable way of expressing oneself

To show others, for fun.

Affirmation Art. Because when I started it I was depressed and I used Art as a way of bucking myself up.

Bad, but you just see the words, you don't hear how it is said. I think people can be more free with what they say because you are detatched from the people you are speaking to.

Yup
